Cultivating Belonging Through Social Inclusion
The 151st AAIDD Annual Meeting will provide a forum for practitioners, researchers, policymakers, and advocates to come together to explore opportunities, challenges, and strategies related to social inclusion and belonging in the field of intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Social inclusion is the combination of meaningful community participation and reciprocal relationships that lead to a sense of belonging. This sense of belonging is an essential human need that everyone shares.
